High Desalination Efficiency 3000 Liter/Hour Reverse Osmosis(RO)Water Purifying System To Produce Pure Water

Reverse Osmosis Water Purifying system--Overview

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water filter purification technology that uses a semi-permeable membrane to remove ions, molecules, and larger particles from drinking water. In reverse osmosis, the applied pressure is used to overcome osmotic pressure.

Reverse osmosis can remove many types of dissolved and suspended species from water, including bacteria, and is used in both industrial processes and the production of potable water such as fluoride.

The result is you get very pure water. Unfortunately, this water becomes "Dead Water” lacking the alkaline minerals needed by your body and even worse can leach it from you.

Let's be clear about this, its NOT natural to drink 100% pure water.

We understand that your reverse osmosis salesman has already heard this complaint and has an answer ready for you. He will try to sell you a ‘remineralizing' cartridge' to add the minerals you just paid to have removed, back in. Our report on remineralizes follows, and we'll help you steer clear of the majority of RO duds sold to people like you.

But let's try for another ‘brownie point' in your decision. Just WHY isn't pure water good for you?

We all agree that we require an adequate supply of pure water and RO systems are complicated.

What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a membrane separation water purification process in which feed water flows along the membrane surface under pressure. Purified water permeates the membrane and is collected, while the concentrated water, containing dissolved and undissolved material that does not flow through the membrane, is discharged to the drain.

The key requirements of Reverse Osmosis (RO) process are a membrane and water under pressure. Other requirements include prefiltration to remove suspended impurities and carbon to remove chlorine (damages the membrane).

Most membranes remove 90-99+ % of the dissolved impurities depending on the impurity and the composition of water.

Reverse Osmosis, combined with pre-filtration, is able to remove 90 to 99.99% of the dissolved impurities that reside in your water.

Reverse osmosis systems (RO Systems) remove salts, microorganisms and many high molecular weight organics. System capacity depends on the water temperature, total dissolved solids in feed water, operating pressure and the overall recovery of the system.

08. The use of advanced membrane protective system,in the device when parking, demineralized water automatic washing membrane surface pollutants, scaling prevention, prolong the service life of the film.

09. Without fragile components in system,no need for major repair.

10. water quantity and water quality could be adjusted according to operating requirements, designed with specialized software,to get the best cost performance.

How Reverse Osmosis works?

A  reverse osmosis system removes sediment and chlorine from water with a prefilter before it forces water through a semipermeable membrane to remove dissolved solids. After water exits the RO membrane, it passes through a postfilter to polish the drinking water before it enters a dedicated faucet. Reverse osmosis systems have various stages depending on their number of prefilters and postfilters.

Stages of RO systems

The RO membrane is the focal point of a reverse osmosis system, but an RO system also includes other types of filtration. RO systems are made up of 3, 4, or 5 stages of filtration.

Every reverse osmosis water system contains a sediment filter and a carbon filter in addition to the RO membrane. The filters are called either prefilters or postfilters depending on whether water passes through them before or after it passes through the membrane.

Each type of system contains one or more of the following filters:

Sediment filter: Reduces particles like dirt, dust, and rust

Carbon filter: Reduces volatile organic compounds (VOCs), chlorine, and other contaminants that give water a bad taste or odor

Semi-permeable membrane: Removes up to 98% of total dissolved solids (TDS)

When water first enters an RO system, it goes through prefiltration. Prefiltration typically includes a carbon filter and a sediment filter to remove sediment and chlorine that could clog or damage the RO membrane.

Next, water goes through the reverse osmosis membrane where dissolved particles, even too small to be seen with an electron microscope, are removed.

After filtration, water flows to the storage tank, where it is held until needed. A reverse osmosis system continues to filter water until the storage tank is full and then shuts off.

As there has water level alarm installed inside pure water tank, when the pure water level is below the min limit, the floating level switch will goes up,then the pump will start to operate RO system to produce pure water till water level above alarming line.

Advantages of Reverse Osmosis over Conventional Processes

Compared with other conventional water treatment processes, reverse osmosis has proven to be the most efficient means of removing salts, chemical contaminants and heavy metals, such as lead, from drinking water. For waters with total dissolved solids of 200 or more, reverse osmosis is less expensive than ion exchange. Even at total dissolved solids of less than 200, it is preferred over ion exchange for removal of silica and organics. Compared with distillation, reverse osmosis use only a fraction of the total energy and does not have high temperature problems or scaling and corrosion. Today reverse osmosis systems have proven to be the most economical and efficient means of improving the quality of water.

Simple To Operate And Maintain

Applied Membranes reverse osmosis systems come assembled, factory tested and in ready-to-operate condition. They are designed for efficiency and are simple to operate and maintain. Besides regular monitoring and periodic membrane cleaning, membranes need to be changed every one to three years depending on water quality, size of the system and pretreatment. Pumps also require routine maintenance.
